Marie Minardo Joins the Junior Achievement of New York Board of Directors

New York, NY- June 12, 2025 – Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) is pleased to welcome Marie C. Minardo, Chief Audit Officer at HSBC US, to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Minardo brings over 30 years of distinguished leadership in internal audit to JA New York, along with a deep commitment to mentoring and community engagement. In her current role at HSBC US, she reports directly to the US Chief Executive Officer and the US Board Audit Committee Chair, overseeing critical audit activities across the organization.

Prior to joining HSBC, Ms. Minardo held senior leadership roles at UBS, Barclays, Merrill Lynch, and Bankers Trust Company, where she developed a reputation for her expertise in Capital Markets and US regulatory frameworks. Her career has been marked by a consistent dedication to excellence, innovation, and the development of future leaders in the financial services industry.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Minardo is a passionate advocate for giving back. She serves on the HSBC US Philanthropy Committee, is the Executive Sponsor of the HSBC Working Caregivers Network (Nurture) and is an active member of the Parent Guild at Bay Ridge Preparatory School, an independent K-12 Private School in Brooklyn, NY.
