Keith Pinniger re-elected Chair of the Board of Directors for JA New York

Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) announced that Keith Pinniger has been re-elected as Chair of the organization’s Board of Directors. Keith has served as chair since June 2019 and was previously a member at large of the board, joining in 2015. JA New York is the leading non-profit organization in greater New York dedicated to creating pathways for students to financial success and career readiness. With a mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy, Junior Achievement is built on the premise that knowledge plus access equals empowerment.

Keith is a Managing Director at Citigroup and received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and his M.B.A. from Washington University, St. Louis.

“JA New York is grateful for Keith’s leadership as chair of the board. He has guided the organization through the uncertainty of the past two years when our core delivery model of volunteers working with students in schools was upended and our fundraising efforts were severely affected. JA New York kept the students at the forefront of our pivot to continue to impact young people, their families, and their communities, adapting to virtual and hybrid programming,” said Betty A. Garger, President and CEO of JA New York. Betty continued, “Keith and I are looking forward to expanding the impact of JA New York and reestablishing in-person activities as well as leveraging the lessons learned with virtual programming.”
