Junior Achievement of New York Announces Gary Kozlowski as New Chair of the Board of Directors
July 13, 2023, New York, NY Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) has announced that Gary Kozlowski has been elected as Chair of its Board of Directors effective July 1, 2023. JA New York is the leading non-profit organization in greater New York dedicated to creating pathways to economic empowerment for young people. With a mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy, JA New York is built on the premise that knowledge plus access equals empowerment.
Gary Kozlowski is a NYC based Partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) with 34 years of professional services experience. Over his career, Gary’ has consulted on risk management, regulatory, business/operations performance improvement, strategic and transformational change for financial services clients. He brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served on JA New York’s board for 14 years, currently serving on the Executive Committee as Board Treasurer. He also chaired the JA New York’s President/CEO Search committee in 2021 and has been heavily involved in the Junior Achievement USA organization.

Gary follows Keith Pinniger, who has served as Board Chair since June 2019. “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to chair this wonderful organization,” commented Pinniger. “I really enjoyed working with the leaders of the JA New York team to ensure that students experience the highest quality programs to gain valuable skills that will set them up for success in their future careers and in their lives. I wish Gary the best of luck and I look forward to working with him as I continue to serve on the JA New York Board and support the important work we do to ensure that students throughout the region have access to JA’s incredible resources and learning experiences to help them gain valuable skills that will set them up for future success.”
